Overview
Abbey People commissioned this consultancy to review the effectiveness of its trustee board following changes in board membership. The project combined a trustee skills audit with a governance review to assess board capability, governance practices and future development needs, supporting effective governance and continuous organisational improvement.
My Role
I independently designed and delivered the consultancy from inception to final reporting. My responsibilities included:
designing an integrated trustee skills audit and governance review;
developing an online mixed-methods questionnaire using Microsoft Forms;
managing data collection with trustees;
analysing quantitative and qualitative data;
producing a comprehensive report with findings, comparative analysis and practical recommendations; and
presenting recommendations to support future governance, trustee development and organisational planning.
